Hello, I’m Maria Nguyễn.

I set foot in Australia in middle of 2018, brimming with aspirations and dreams. Yet just two years later, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing lockdowns transformed my life into an unending stretch of isolation. I became a stay-at-home mum to a newborn in a foreign land where cultural norms diverged from my own, financial resources were scant, and my English was still fledgling. Quietly, I grappled with loneliness, confusion, and the bewilderment of starting anew.

Prior to that, I had devoted eight years of my career to serving the community, overseeing projects ranging from grassroots initiatives to meaningful fundraising campaigns. However, in early 2025, a series of personal crises left me mentally and physically drained. For six months, I felt trapped in an invisible labyrinth: devouring one book after another, enrolling in numerous online courses, and pushing myself to overcome every limitation, yet remaining stagnant.

Amid restless nights of introspection, I delved deeply into psychology and the journey of self-development. I learned to identify my emotions, rekindle intrinsic motivation, and cultivate the art of self-compassion. Each day, I journalled, reflected, and practised new techniques, gradually reigniting the spark of hope within me.

When I began sharing these insights with friends and family, I was astonished by their empathy and wholehearted encouragement. Our conversations reached into the hidden corners of their hearts, unveiling feelings they had never before expressed. Buoyed by this response, I pivoted my career toward psychological counselling and personal growth coaching.

Today, I accompany my clients on a journey of self-discovery, helping them rediscover their motivation and build a better version of themselves, day by day. Witnessing their small triumphs, the confident smile, the brighter eyes, and the lighter heart, these fills me with profound joy. This work is more than a profession; it is my mission to connect souls and empower dreams.

The universe will continue to challenge you until you uncover the reason you exist. Remain steadfast, for it is through overcoming adversity that you will discover your true purpose.
